Every year on Memorial Day, Boulder, Colorado, hosts the Bolder Boulder 10K road race. This race is open to everyone and includes a wheelchair race and a walkers' race. It also includes Marine Corps units who march to honor fallen American soldiers. This is the fourth largest road race in the world and the one of the largest tributes to American veterans in the U.S. on Memorial Day.

 Sunday evenings in the summer feature the CMF Chamber Orchestra, Tuesdays bring chamber and world music ensembles, and Thursday and Friday evenings showcase the full CMF Festival Orchestra. Throughout the season, emerging talent from Europe, Asia, South America and the U.S. join CMF musicians in performances that inspire and engage concertgoers of all ages. |

Celebrating the works of William Shakespeare, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival is a complete experience for a summer evening. One of the country's most renowned summer festivals, CSF continues to present the best of classical theatre from mid-June to mid-August. Performances are staged in the 1,000-seat Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre with the majestic Flatirons mountains as a backdrop, and indoors in the 400-seat University Theatre, Main Stage.
